A curated library for
healthcare operators.
I created this library to help organize news and best practices around the frameworks, research, and thinking I return to most when navigating growth, operations, and M&A across multi-site healthcare. Organized by function. Updated regularly.
I’m Paul Gruensfelder, a healthcare growth operator with 13+ years scaling patient acquisition, retention and reputation/branding programs across numerous healthcare organizations spanning hospital systems, medical groups and DSOs.

Wolters Kluwer 2026 AI Survey: Clinician Adoption Triples, but Trust Gap Widens
I’ve spent most of my career helping healthcare systems and multi-site DSOs build patient acquisition programs, strengthen retention, and create the cross-functional alignment that makes growth stick.
What I find most interesting is how the biggest opportunities in this industry tend to live where departments connect. When patient access improves, care experiences get better, and teams work toward the same outcomes, growth follows naturally. And when healthcare organizations scale well, more people get high-quality care close to where they live. That’s always been the north star.
That belief is what shaped the PRS framework, an approach to building healthcare organizations genuinely poised for sustainable growth. This site is where I collect the research and thinking that informs it.
